Ingredients

Recipe adapted from www.DeliciousTable.com

  • 1 cup extra fine granulated sugar
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 6 lemons — You can use pre-squeezed lemon juice, but I’ve found it is much more bitter than fresh-squeezed.
  • 6 tablespoons honey
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Fresh mint

Instructions

Making the Blueberry Syrup

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat 1 cup of water and 1 cup sugar.
  2. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Thoroughly wash your blueberries and add to the pan.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer until the blueberries are soft and beginning to break down. Approx. 3-4 minutes.
  5. Strain the blueberries through a cheesecloth or strainer and cool.
